Onalytica, a top player in the market of providing Influencer Relationship Management software and supporting professional services to help brands scale 1-to-1 Influencer Relationship Management results, published the latest top 100 influencers, brands and publications.
“Influencer marketing is one of the most promising and underappreciated disciplines in the digital marketing mix. The notion of engaging people with the capacity to influence desirable audiences is not only attractive, but can also be incredibly effective when managed properly. It opens up an entirely new world for companies to connect with increasingly elusive and discerning audiences in ways that are more natural and relatable. As people are becoming more connected and mobile, companies have to explore creative approaches to earn attention and build relationships.”- (The Future of Influence Marketing by Bryan Solis, Altimeter)
Adding to that “The digital revolution has catalysed many changes in the way society functions, these range from instant news alerts to virtual reality gaming. The rise of technology has also boosted the healthcare industry in unimaginable ways. 70% of healthcare organizations worldwide will invest by 2018 in technology including apps, wearables, remote monitoring and virtual care. “ – (Onalytica)
This is why ever since 2015, Onalytica keeps track of top 100 influencers, brands and publications within the market of Digital Health.
And YESSS people! This year, both our CEO, João Bocas, and our brand Digital Salutem made it to the world top!
Onalytica used a PageRank based methodology to extract influencers on a particular topic (in this case, a filter on “digital health” / digitalhealth / healthtech). It takes into account the number and quality of contextual messages a user receives and the resonance (engagement), relevance (number of tweets on topic) and reach (number of followers). The analyses took place over 175 days, 812.720 Tweets and 14.793 users.
The number one health tech influencer ranked is the top science thinker and speaker John Nosta, followed by the young medical futurist Berci Meskó.
In the list of top publications talking about health tech, MobiHealthNews, The Economist and MedCity News are most followed.
